myPOS (“myPOS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website https://mypos.pk/ and provides Point of Sale (POS) software solutions for retail, restaurant, salon, laundry, tailoring, and other businesses across Pakistan, including offline desktop applications, cloud-based reporting, mobile applications, and FBR (Federal Board of Revenue) digital invoicing integration.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit our website, use our POS software, download our applications, or interact with us as a customer, reseller, or partner. By using our website or software, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
a) Information You Provide to Us
- Contact and enquiry information: name, business name, phone number, email address, and message details submitted through our contact form, quote request form, or WhatsApp/phone enquiries.
- Account and business information: when you purchase, download, or activate myPOS software (RetailPro, RestroPro, SalonPro, LaundryPro, TailorPro, etc.), we may collect your business name, contact details, license/activation information, and billing details.
- Support and ticketing data: information you submit through our Support or Tickets pages, including issue descriptions, screenshots, and contact details.
- Reseller/partner information: business registration details, contact information, and communications if you apply for or participate in our Reseller program.
b) Information Collected Through Use of the Software
myPOS software is used by businesses to manage their own sales, inventory, and customers. As part of this functionality, the software may process:
- Sales transactions, inventory, stock movement, and supplier records entered by the business using the software.
- Customer records that our business clients (the “Account Holder”) choose to store within myPOS, such as customer names, contact numbers, and Debit/Credit ledger history, for the purpose of operating their own point-of-sale system.
- Employee management data entered by the Account Holder, such as employee names, access levels, and activity logs within the system.
- FBR Digital Invoicing data, where applicable, including invoice details transmitted to FBR’s POS integration system in compliance with Pakistani tax regulations.
Important note on roles: Where myPOS software is used by a business to store its own customers’ or employees’ data, that business acts as the data controller for that information, and myPOS acts as a data processor/service provider, processing such data only to provide the software’s functionality, as instructed by the Account Holder. If you are an end-customer of a business using myPOS (e.g., a customer of a restaurant or salon using our software), please refer to that business’s own privacy policy regarding their use of your data.
c) Information Collected Automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, time spent on the site, and referring URLs, collected through standard web server logs and analytics tools.
- Cookies and similar technologies: used to remember preferences, understand site usage, and improve performance (see Section 5 below).
- Software diagnostic data: where applicable, basic technical information (e.g., software version, error logs) may be collected from desktop or mobile applications to help us provide support and improve stability.

This includes access controls, encrypted connections where applicable, and restricted access to customer and business data stored within our systems. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
